metaSolid

metaSolid is a Python package for meta data harmonization. It integrates local and cloud based LLMs together with semantic embedding models to convert messy, inconsistent meta data fields into harmonized ones.

Harmonization can be carried out in two ways:

• Semantic clustering - fields are grouped by embedding similarity and collapsed into consensus terms
• Target based harmonization - fields are mapped onto a common target vocabulary or schema
